Scientific and technological progress in the field of aging has been considerable since the early 2000s. They suggest an imminent revolution in longevity.
For the past decade, life expectancy in developed countries has been stagnating or even declining. Life expectancy in good health is not increasing either. Moreover, specialists agree that COVID does not explain all of the decline in life expectancy observed in 2020 and 2021.
